About
This is the Old City branch of Akha Ama, the coffee social enterprise started by Lee Ayu Chuepa from an Akha hill-tribe village. It buys directly from Akha farmers at fair prices and supports growing coffee alongside fruit, tea and vegetables. The shop sits on Ratchadamnoen Road a short walk from Wat Phra Singh, with outdoor seats and a quieter upstairs for laptop work. You can buy beans ground to order. It's my pick for a good cup that also does some good.
