Nimmanhaemin Road and its numbered sois run between the Old City and Chiang Mai University. It's the city's densest strip of cafes, restaurants and bars, with the Maya and One Nimman malls at the Huay Kaew Road end. It's walkable, busy in the evenings, and the easiest base if you want everything close.
