half coffee is a minimalist café in Pa Tueng, Mae Chan district, Chiang Rai, so it only makes sense on a trip north towards Mae Sai or Doi Mae Salong. Behind the café is a view of the hills. The menu is broad: coffee (specialty beans, oat milk, adjustable sweetness), several kinds of matcha, hojicha, cocoa and sodas, with keto-friendly and flourless cakes such as strawberry cheese pie. There's a play area out back, which makes it an easy family stop on a long drive.
