Per-La-Mer Cafe

Per-La-Mer is a big, green garden restaurant-café in Mae Raem, Mae Rim, set among large shade trees with a natural stream running through. It's more of a proper meal than a coffee stop: the menu mixes Thai and international dishes, with desserts and drinks to finish. They source mainly from local farmers, use certified organic vegetables and hold Chiang Mai's Green Kitchen certification, which I like to see. It's pet-friendly and roomy, so it suits families and groups heading out to the Mae Rim attractions.
