Sunny Side Up is a homey café inside the Sunny petrol station on the Chiang Mai–Hot road in Hang Dong, which makes it easy to find and park at. It serves brunch, Thai and Western dishes, cakes and coffee. The fig dishes are the signature, and the spicy dried-chilli bacon spaghetti and tuna melt get mentions too. It's relaxed enough for working, reading or bringing kids, and it's pet-friendly. Mornings are the calmest.
