Gems Gallery is a large jewellery showroom and factory on the San Kamphaeng craft road. It sells gold, silver and gemstone pieces, and you can watch artisans at work. It runs free hotel transfers from the city and Nimman, the classic tour-stop format, and it also stocks local crafts alongside the jewellery. I'd treat it as a look at the craft and compare before buying anything big.
