Changthong Heritage Park

Chotana & Mae Jo Rd · Chang Phueak North / Mae Jo road

About

Changthong Heritage Park in San Phi Suea, 15 to 20 minutes north of the centre, calls itself a living museum of trees, and that's a fair description. It's a big landscaped garden of rare, old and unusual Thai trees, with winding trails, moss gardens, small waterfalls and a palm-lined lake, plus the Spiral Coco café. It's a calm, shady place to walk for an hour or two. Foreigners pay more than Thai residents, but the ticket includes a café discount.
