Jing Jai Market Chiang Mai
Chang Phueak · Chang Phueak (North Gate)
Featured in: A Chiang Mai vintage guide
About
Jing Jai, usually just called JJ, is the weekend market for a slow morning rather than bargain hunting. The farmers' market has run since 2012 and sells organic and small-farm produce from around the north, next to a handmade zone with crafts, ceramics, vintage pieces, coffee and live music. It's on Atsadathon Road, north-east of the Old City, in a shady compound run by Central Group, and the complex keeps shops like Tops Green and Good Goods open through the week. Get there early, do the produce first, then sit down for breakfast.
