Kad Manee is an open-air evening market on Thipanet Road in Hai Ya, a short way south of the Old City near Wua Lai, and it runs every day rather than just at the weekend. It's an everyday neighbourhood night market, good for grazing and picking up dinner, and it's at its busiest around 19:00–20:00, especially on Friday and Saturday. If you're staying south of the moat, it's a handy alternative to the bigger tourist markets. Come hungry and bring small notes.
