Sukhum.maerim

Sukhum's Mae Rim branch is a Japanese-minimal wooden cabin café opposite the PTT station at the Thung Hua Chang junction, just before the road climbs to Mon Jam. There's a front lawn, trees and plenty of seating indoors and out, with parking inside the grounds. The menu is coffee (the Americano is smooth and strong), tea, chocolate and fresh bakes like bagels and cinnamon rolls, at about 50–200 baht. It's the right kind of unhurried pit stop before a mountain drive; sit outside if it isn't too hot.
