Northlands is a small, home-style Thai restaurant in the north-east corner of the Old City, run almost single-handedly by a very kind owner. The menu is everyday Thai: pad thai, massaman and green curries, coconut chicken soup, fried rice and mango sticky rice, in generous portions at low prices. Expect free fruit or a snack while you wait. It opens very early and stays open until 9pm.
