Zoe in Yellow is the big open-air backpacker complex on Ratvithi Road in the Old City. It's a cluster of bars round a courtyard, each blasting something different: EDM, hip-hop, Thai pop or reggae. Entry is usually free, and it's busiest after 11pm at weekends. It's loud, cheap and very social, and either your thing or not. Watch your drink, and book a Grab home before you leave.
