About
Mae Khanin is a village area in the hills west of Hang Dong, and it's best known for its river trail, often called the hundred-streams route, where ATVs and dirt bikes splash through stream after stream on an old path between two villages. A community-backed group, ATV Mae Khanin Nuea, runs guided ATV rides on a route of about 35 km round trip, booked through hotels and tour counters. If you ride your own dirt bike, the Mae Khanin River Run is a popular easy trail. It's best in the dry months, from November to March.
