Maerim Elephant Sanctuary

Mae Taeng

About

Maerim Elephant Sanctuary is a no-riding elephant programme at Khi Lek in Mae Rim. Visits are hands-on but gentle: you feed the elephants, join them for the mud spa and go swimming with them. There are morning and afternoon half-day sessions plus a full day, and hotel pick-up is included in the price. It's set up well for families, with children under three free and ages three to seven half price. Visitors who don't want to take part can come along on a 300-baht ticket. Bring spare clothes, as everyone gets muddy.
