About
Ho Kham Luang, the Royal Pavilion, is the big Lanna-style hall at the centre of Royal Park Rajapruek in Mae Hia, and it's the building on most of the park's postcards. It sits on a raised mound with layered roofs and gilded detail, and inside there are exhibitions on royal projects and heritage. It's covered by your park ticket. Dress respectfully, since you take off shoes, hats and sunglasses to go in, and come early or late for the softer light.
