About
Wang Bua Ban is a waterfall in Doi Suthep–Pui National Park, a little above Huay Kaew Falls on the edge of the city, and it's not a lotus pond despite the name. The falls split over the rocks into several smaller sections with cool rock pools, and water usually runs all year. A short loop trail of just over a kilometre goes round the falls, rocky and uneven underfoot, and a gap in the trees gives a view back over Chiang Mai. A trail also links it down to Huay Kaew, so you can walk between the two.
