About
Thong-Urai is a café that doubles as a painting studio, on Suan Dok Road near the hospital. Easels fill the floor, the tables are covered in paint, and you can either freestyle or pick an example to copy, with staff on hand to help when it goes wrong. Drinks and snacks keep you going for a whole afternoon, and you leave with your own canvas. It's a good rainy-day plan, a fun date, or a way to keep kids busy. You don't need any skill; that's the point.
