Everest 8848 is a Nepali and Himalayan restaurant on Suan Dok Road, near Wat Suan Dok. It's a simple room with some outdoor seats, and the menu covers the comfort classics: momos, dal bhat sets, curries, aloo chana and roti, with shakes to drink. Vegetarians do well here. It's good value and a nice change from Thai food. I'd start with the momos.
